Residential Services

Ask what’s possible… not what’s available

Personalization is one of the biggest reasons my services are sought out in the residential marketplace.

Unique projects like the perfect reading nook in the garden, an outdoor fire pit that can seat the entire extended family, or the ironwork you fell in love with while vacationing in New Orleans. Some of my favorite projects would’ve never have crossed my mind unless you made it a memory first.

A one of a kind creation is the ultimate display of personalization when it comes to design. The only limit to that expression is your imagination… and sometimes physics. Everyone can imagine something beautiful, but many struggle to articulate how that might look as a tangible thing. I have found that part of the creative process comes easily to me. By scheduling a meeting, we can explore your ideas, sketches, examples, or stories and I can help you design a physical version of your personal expression.

If you’re like me, my home needs to exist as something more than just a dwelling. Not only do I desire security and functionality, I need to value it. In a world of mass-produced products that are designed more and more based on globally standardized manufacturing techniques. Many design choices have been diminished by parameters like shipping weight, production time, and current trends. When I’m asked to design something for your home, it’s important to me that it brings value into your life. When others are invited into your living space, they are invited to experience what’s valuable to you. For example, an outdoor fire pit that can seat your entire extended family because nothing is more valuable to you than family. Alternatively, you might recharge your batteries with solitude, and a valuable secluded reading nook in the garden might be desired.

I can also help you express your value through fortitude. There’s nothing wrong with valuing privacy, so a formidable entry gate or decorative perimeter can be a way to intentionally express that you like to protect what’s valuable to you.
